Ben Keen aka BK is the UK’s number 1 producer floor filling hard dance music. For 8 years BK has been the production engine behind the growth of Clapham’s (SW4) massive dance label: Nukleuz Records. From Nu NRG to Hard House to the new breed of Techno / Hard Dance, BK has led the production sounds. He has made over 100 12”s & remixes (including the massive: Hard Beat 12”s, Cortina ‘Music Is Moving’, E-Trax ‘Lets Rock, Fergie & BK ‘Hoovers n Horns’ and ‘Revolution’) and literally sold 100,000’s of 12”s without ever selling out and having a cheesy crossover hit.

In four years, Ben Keen has produced over 75 original tracks and collaborations for Nukleuz Records. In addition to this he's remixed many tracks in his trademark style for labels such as: Data, NuLife, Positiva, VC, Ffrr, Serious, Mute, Tidy Trax and Tripoli Trax. Always one step ahead of the pack, it was BK’s productions that drove the huge surge in interest in the hard house scene in 2000 and it was BK who mixed the first major label compilation 'HardHouse Anthems' with a young DJ called Fergie in 2000!

Ben Keen is the most prolific and successful hard dance producer of all time and in August he turned in his most comprehensive work to date. He has invited 11 of the most influential players on the massive hard dance scene into the studio to create the ultimate snapshot of this vibrant movement whose influence stretches all over the world.

These 11 leading producers and DJ’s of the booming Hard Dance scene (Frantic, Sundissential, Dance Valley, Riot, Convergence, Trade etc.) have come together to make a unique album of 12 original compositions. It’s not exactly artist nor exactly compilation nor exactly a mix album but it is kind of all 3! What it is, is the most influential bunch of DJ’s working together on an original album that’s ever been put together in this way!

A high point of Ben's production career has undoubtedly been the national Radio One daytime playlisting of 'Revolution' at the end of 2002. Having received support from dance specialists Judge Jules and Dave Pearce, the track then became one of the few that crossed-over to the daytime schedule meaning that the UK was served a portion of hard house morning, noon and night! The track then went on to sell over 25,000 12" copies alone around the world!

He is resident at the two most forward thinking hard dance events in the UK: Frantic's Convergence and Nukleuz's Riot! at The End. As the number one producer in the UK, he has built up a reputation as the DJ with the latest productions and has been responsible for the introduction of techno into the hard house scene.
